Takamul Travel is an Omani company established in 2009 by Muhammad Rajhit al-Mahri and is based in the capital of Dhofar Governorate – Salalah. It is a subsidiary of Takamul Group which covers business activities as financial services brokerage and real estate development. Takamul Travel specializes in destination management services and car rental. We provide wide range of guided tours and roundtrips, hotel bookings, ticketing services and transfers. As part of our car rental division we own a fleet of 90 cars of all categories. In 2020 we have opened new car rental office in Muscat, Khuweir. We are proud to offer services of our multilingual tour guides and hotel representatives. Takamul Travel team is currently made of 22 people from various nationalities and backgrounds. We cherish our relationships and business cooperation with other local providers which allows us to provide the best possible service for our esteemed travel guests.

Muhammad bin Saeed Rajhit al-Mahri, founder, owner, and CEO of Takamul Travel Group
Muhammad was born in the coastal town of Rakhyut in Dhofar Governorate. From an early age, Muhammad exhibited a sense of entrepreneurship and in his early 20´established his first company for building and construction, later on, he founded Takamul Car Rental company with two branches in Salalah. His steadfastness allowed him to develop the company and diversify the scope of activities to include travel agency and tour operator services. Despite the difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic the company under his leadership opened a new car rental branch in Muscat and resumed full operation in tourism.
Karel Tomastik, General manager of Takamul Travel Oman
Karel was born in South Moravia region in Czech Republic. He studied Arabic and the History of the Middle East at Charles University in Prague. Karel traveled extensively in the Middle East and Africa as a researcher-explorer. His fluency in Arabic and the knowledge of local culture allowed him to work smoothly in the middle-eastern environment on various positions. He worked as tour manager and travel designer in Morocco, Kenya, and lastly he settled in the Sultanate of Oman. Karel is currently managing the travel and tours division of Takamul Travel Oman. He attained the Omani general guiding license from the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism. His favorite sports are long distance cycling, swimming and snorkeling. He is also a landscape and nature photography enthusiast.
